This notice explains what happens to your information when you apply for the atomicOS beta on atomicos.run. It covers the beta application only; the atomicOS app has its own Privacy Policy.
Who we are
The beta application is run by the atomicOS team. You can reach us at support@atomicos.run.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your answers to the application questions: the device you run with, how often and how far you run, races you have done, what running means to you (and any note you add), and what you hope atomicOS helps with.
- Details collected automatically when you submit: your IP address and the approximate country derived from it; your device type, operating system, and browser, read from your browser's user-agent; your browser's time zone and interface language; the page or campaign you came from; and the time you gave consent.
Why we use it
- To decide whom to invite to the atomicOS beta, a limited group of runners. Not every applicant will be invited. Our team makes this decision by reading your answers; it is not made by an automated system. We will email only the people we select.
- To tell you when atomicOS launches, if you agreed to hear about it.
- To understand who is interested, so we can shape the product.
- To prevent abuse and spam.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising, and we share it only with the service providers named below.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before.
Where it is stored
Your information is stored on our server in mainland China and in a Feishu (Lark) Bitable run by our team, also hosted in China. Only the atomicOS team can access it.
If you live outside China, this means your information is transferred to and stored in China. By submitting the form, you consent to that transfer.
How long we keep it
We delete your application information within 12 months after atomicOS launches, or sooner if you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing support@atomicos.run.
If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR, including to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and you can complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
If you are in mainland China, you have the rights set out in the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), including to know about, access, copy, correct, and delete your information, and to withdraw consent.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date above.
